Learning Development Manager Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of employee learning and development within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement L&D strategies that align with the overall goals and objectives of the organization
  • Lead and manage L&D initiatives, such as training programs, mentoring, and coaching
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR and management, to ensure that L&D initiatives align with the overall goals and objectives of the organization
  • Continuously monitor and improve L&D processes and methodologies
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in L&D
  • Communicate effectively with management and other teams to ensure that project status, risks, and issues are effectively communicated and addressed
  • Develop and implement metrics and reporting to measure the effectiveness of L&D initiatives
  • Act as a L&D resource for employees and provide guidance, counseling, and coaching on L&D-related matters
  • Identify and evaluate external training programs and vendors to enhance the internal L&D offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in L&D, with at least 3 years of experience in a management role
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with L&D software and tools is a plus
  • Experience in L&D for various industries and positions is a plus
  • Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theories and methodologies is a plus
