Employee Relations Manager Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations (ER) Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of employee relations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ER strategies that align with the overall goals and objectives of the organization
  • Lead and manage ER initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement, and retention strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR and management, to ensure that ER initiatives align with the overall goals and objectives of the organization
  • Continuously monitor and improve ER processes and methodologies
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in ER
  • Communicate effectively with management and other teams to ensure that project status, risks, and issues are effectively communicated and addressed
  • Act as an ER resource for employees and provide guidance, counseling, and coaching on ER-related matters
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints, grievances, and disputes in a timely and fair manner
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employee relations, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations, with at least 3 years of experience in a management role
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations laws and regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
