We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our IT department. The Business Analyst will work closely with the PM and other team members to support the development and implementation of IT projects and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, IT project management, and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements to support the development of new IT projects and systems
- Identify areas of improvement in current IT projects and systems
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support IT projects
- Prepare detailed project reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new IT projects and systems
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of new IT projects and systems
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing and provide post-implementation support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, IT project management, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze and interpret large sets of data
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex IT issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with business analysis tools and software, such as Visio, Excel, and SQL
- Experience in Agile software development methodologies is a plus
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of IT systems, software development, and system integration
