  3. Situational judgment tests – These tests present candidates with hypothetical scenarios and ask them to choose the best course of action based on the information provided.

  4. Emotional intelligence tests – These tests assess a candidate’s ability to recognize and manage their own emotions, as well as their ability to understand and influence the emotions of others.

Psychometric tests are typically administered online and can be completed in a relatively short amount of time. The results of these tests are typically compared to established benchmarks and can provide valuable insights into a candidate’s strengths, weaknesses, and potential for success in a leadership role.

It’s important to note that psychometric tests are just one tool that can be used in the assessment process and should be used in conjunction with other methods, such as interviews, role-plays, and case studies, to provide a more comprehensive evaluation of a candidate’s potential.

Examples include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), and Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal.
