We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our IT department. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with the organization’s overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, with experience in both software development and systems architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and develop solutions that meet those requirements
- Design and develop technology solutions that align with the organization’s overall business objectives
- Create detailed architecture diagrams and documentation to support the design and development of technology solutions
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools that can be used to improve the organization’s products, services, and operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are integrated and aligned with the organization’s overall technology strategy
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other members of the IT department
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure that the organization’s technology solutions are competitive and innovative
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in software development and systems architecture
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and frameworks
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems architecture
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and solve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- TOGAF, Zachman or other relevant architecture certifications is a plus
- Strong experience in managing budgets and timelines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
